Una lettera per i genitori di Charlie

Dear Chris and Connie,
I'm an Italian catholic nun, my name is Vera, and I belong to a community of 9 nuns of Eucharistic Adoration.
We' ve been praying so far for you and your beautifull child and we want to continue to sustain your cause and your family with prayers and spiritual nearness.
I think that your battle for your son's life is important for all us and the whole world: asking help like you are doing is the only way to escape tragical situations and injustices.
I love your country: When I was young I listened to the Beatles and learned your lenguage thanks to their songs. England is a strange country of fool and very good peaple. My favourite writers are English:
S. Thomas More, who died to defeat a marriage and the truth: I love him for his humor, too.
Shakespeare, who had the courage to describe and cricize the Elizabethan regime while Queen Elisabeth was at power and he worked at her court.
Card. Newman, blessed, who spoke about consciousness, today a improperly used word.
Chesterton, whom I love like a father, because he learned me to live and to laugh. Daily life is an adventure but only an adventurer discovers it, he said.
Way am I wasting my time writing about English letterature glories? Because now you are the glory of your nation, now you are fighting for truth, life, the good and for God, too.
You make us pray and hope, not only for England, but for Europe and the whole world.
I have a request for you two: your love, your mutual love, your love for Charlie, for your family and friends is the strength, to win the devil' s power. Take care of this love: Chris take care of Connie, Connie take care of Chris. If God wants that you have other children I would be happy beacuse two PARENTS LIKE YOU ARE MORE UNIQUE THAN RARE.
I close my letter with the promise to continue to pray for you.
All the community greets you and assures prayers.
A big hug!
sr Maria Vera

P.S. Forgive me for my bad English: in community I don't speak it frequently!
